We value your generosity and commitment to helping those in need. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding donations and contributions made through our website www.phhfindia.org.
1. Donations
All donations made to People Helping Hands Foundation are voluntary and non-refundable.
Once a donation is successfully processed through our website or payment gateway, it cannot be canceled or refunded, except in special cases as described below.
Your contribution is used solely for charitable purposes, including the welfare of underprivileged individuals and social causes as outlined on our website.
2. Refunds (Exceptional Circumstances)
A refund may be considered only under the following limited circumstances:
- The donation was made by error (e.g., duplicate transaction or incorrect amount).
- The donation was made using a technical glitch or unauthorized transaction (such as fraudulent card use).
- The donation was made accidentally multiple times for the same campaign.
In such cases, donors are requested to inform us in writing within 7 days of the transaction date by emailing support@phhfindia.org with:
- Full name of the donor
- Transaction ID / Payment receipt
- Date and amount of donation
- Reason for refund request
Upon verification, we will initiate the refund process. Approved refunds will be made to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your payment provider’s timelines.
3. Tax Exemption Receipts
Once a tax-exemption receipt (under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961) has been issued, no refund can be processed for that donation.
Please ensure all details are correct before making your donation.
4. Incorrect or Failed Transaction
In case your transaction fails but your account is debited, please contact us with the transaction details at support@phhfindia.org.
We will coordinate with the payment gateway to verify and, if applicable, issue a refund within 7–10 working days.
5. Cancellation of Recurring Donations
If you have opted for a monthly or recurring donation, you may cancel it at any time by sending an email request to support@phhfindia.org at least 7 days before the next billing cycle.
6. Disputes and Clarifications
In case of any dispute regarding donations, refunds, or cancellations, the decision of People Helping Hands Foundation shall be final.
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
